Your song
Double Rainbow at Sunset
Read the lyrics
[Verse 1] Two kids in a world so small GI Joe and Barbie by the wall You got in trouble, made me smile Stood up to a bully mile after mile Saving me when I was young and shy There was something in your eyes [Chorus] Oh Greg Leach, my heart's own song You showed me where I belong Through the fire and the pain Love came shining like the rain Happy birthday to the man Who held my whole world in his hands [Verse 2] Then high school days, that jersey maroon My MSU boy beneath the moon For 29 years I held onto you A firefighter, brave and true So many souls were saved by you Your body broke, your heart would mend And I learned love was real again [Chorus] Oh Greg Leach, my heart's own song You showed me where I belong Through the fire and the pain Love came shining like the rain Happy birthday to the man Who held my whole world in his hands [Bridge] On the water, sunset gold Saint Patrick's promise, brave and bold A double rainbow lit the sky Faith and family, you and I [Verse 3] Now I know those love songs true Every word I sing for you Your strength, your faith, your gentle way Grow more precious every day So here's my heart, forever yours A love worth all the world and more [Chorus] Oh Greg Leach, my heart's own song You showed me where I belong Through the fire and the pain Love came shining like the rain Happy birthday to the man Who held my whole world in his hands [Outro] Happy birthday, love of mine My Greg, my always, my forever valentine
