Kevin

[Verse 1]
Some things just happen by design,
Two roads that crossed at the perfect time,
Different states and a long highway,
We met in the middle, halfway,
A pizza place and a park so green,
The easiest talk I'd ever seen

[Chorus]
It was divine intervention,
It was God's plan from the start,
Kevin, you showed up for me
And you healed this wandering heart,
Best friends and a love with no end,
Six years, and I'd choose you again

[Verse 2]
We talked for hours like old friends do,
Those piercing blue eyes shining through,
That smile of yours lights up the room,
You make me laugh and chase my gloom,
When I had wandered far away,
You led me back to Jesus' grace

[Chorus]
It was divine intervention,
It was God's plan from the start,
Kevin, you showed up for me
And you healed this wandering heart,
Best friends and a love with no end,
Six years, and I'd choose you again

[Bridge]
We drove across the state line wide,
Baptized together, side by side,
Husband and wife in the water deep,
Warriors of God, this faith we keep

[Verse 3]
You've walked through storms nobody should,
Been left behind, but you stayed good,
Loyal when the road got rough,
You always show up, that's your love,
You trust me with your babies too,
I love them as my own with you

[Chorus]
It was divine intervention,
It was God's plan from the start,
Kevin, you don't walk alone,
You've got my hand and all my heart,
Best friends and a love with no end,
Forever, I'd choose you again

[Outro]
With our family and God above,
We've got all we need in this love,
Hallelujah, thank You, Lord,
For this good man I'm thankful for
