Lynda

[Verse 1]
Porch light glowing on a summer night
Old guitar playing and the stars shine bright
Every chair is taken, there's a crowd out back
And one girl laughing like a thunder crack
She never met a stranger she could not call friend
That's my sister, pulling everybody in

[Chorus]
Here's to you, Lynda, on your special day
Raise a Bloody Mary, let the music play
You're the glue that holds this family tight
Brave and funny, you're our shining light

[Verse 2]
Remember Key West and that songwriters show
You booked us a room where the spirits go
Swore it was haunted, grinned from ear to ear
Then you signed us up for a midnight ghost tour
That rolled right past our own front door
We laughed until the sun came up that night

[Chorus]
Here's to you, Lynda, on your special day
Raise a Bloody Mary, let the music play
You're the glue that holds this family tight
Brave and funny, you're our shining light

[Bridge]
Life threw storms that could've knocked you down
But you just dusted off and stood your ground
You kept on moving, never lost your smile
Showed us how to walk that extra mile

[Verse 3]
You show up first when the times get hard
Never miss a birthday, never miss a card
With a prank up your sleeve and a heart of gold
You're the sweetest story that we've ever told

[Chorus]
Here's to you, Lynda, on your special day
Raise a Bloody Mary, hear the fiddles play
You're the glue that holds this family tight
Brave and funny, you're our shining light

[Outro]
Happy birthday, sister, sing it loud and true
There's a whole lot of love out here for you
