Starting a Life Together
You married dad July 18, 1953. Not all marriages start off with a fight with the best man and a trip to the ER. Dad hid his car in a friend's garage as he didn't want the car decorated. Only someone found the car and decorated it. When dad found out, he got in a fist fight with his best man and then tried to pull the tin cans off the back of the car. When dad yanked the line to remove the cans, the fishing line cut the palm of his hand. Off to the ER to get stitched up.

Building a Family.
Jeff was first followed by Bruce. Bruce was a big baby and the doctor jokingly said, "next time have twins." Little did he know, the next birth would be twins. Peggy and Patty cam along followed by Michael and Michele 15 months later. You finished building your family with Kathy.
February 1992
A Huge Loss
Dad retired around 1990 and you had plans to travel and enjoy life together. Only the Lord had different plans. Dad was diagnosed with a non-operative cancer in March 1991 and was gone in February 1992. It was extremely difficult, but you endured the pain and became a stronger woman. What an inspiration!
November 2020
Another Loss
Unfortunately, you watched a son become ill and suffer the consequences of cancer. A mother should never have to suffer the loss of a child.

Your baby, Kathy, has decided to move out of your house. Now we face the dilemma of having you stay in your house or move to a senior living facility. We only want what is best for you. We want to see you thrive!
