Matt Reeves

[Verse 1]
Some folks come into your life
And feel like family right away
Two kids in high school, holding hands,
A love that only grew each day.
Through mountain roads and open skies,
A steady heart I've come to know—
Matthew Reeves, the man who stayed,
And let that young love bloom and grow.

[Chorus]
Oh, thank you, Lord, for all this grace,
For faith and love in one warm place.
For dinners shared and Christmas light,
For peace that carries through the night.
A gift I never thought I'd find—
This family, forever mine.

[Verse 2]
Dirt bikes roaring through the dust,
Bear Valley snow beneath our skis,
A cabin nestled in the pines
Right here in Arnold's whispering trees.
You golf beside me, laugh out loud,
You work those long and weary hours,
To give your loved ones all you've got—
A steady rain that feeds our flowers.

[Chorus]
Oh, thank you, Lord, for all this grace,
For faith and love in one warm place.
For dinners shared and Christmas light,
For peace that carries through the night.
A gift I never thought I'd find—
This family, forever mine.

[Bridge]
My grandchildren's names of Carter Reeves
And Taylor Reeves, so dear,
And my daughter's name, Alex Reeves—
The reasons that we're here.

[Verse 3]
You carry burdens, don't complain,
You hold them steady, hold them tight.
And every worry that you face,
God's gonna help you make it right.
So Matthew Reeves, this song's for you,
For all the joy that you have brought.

[Chorus]
Oh, thank you, Lord, for all this grace,
For faith and love in one warm place.
For dinners shared and Christmas light,
For peace that carries through the night.

[Outro]
A gift I never thought I'd find—
This family, forever mine.
