Sheila

[Verse 1]
There's a porch light on in every town
Where the family's spread out all around
Phone calls ringing on a Sunday night
Somebody checking that we're all alright
And I know who's been doing that for years
My big sister, laughing through the tears

[Chorus]
So raise a glass, turn the music loud
Eighty years and she's still leading this crowd
Kind and caring, full of fun and grace
First one in and the last to leave the place
Happy birthday, Sheila, sing it out
You're the love this family's all about

[Verse 2]
You never miss a holiday or meal
Drive the miles to show us how you feel
You love our kids the way you love your own
Grandbabies climbing on your lap at home
You tell a story and the whole room roars
Even when the joke's on you, we love you more

[Chorus]
So raise a glass, turn the music loud
Eighty years and she's still leading this crowd
Kind and caring, full of fun and grace
First one in and the last to leave the place
Happy birthday, Sheila, sing it out
You're the love this family's all about

[Bridge]
You went first through every open door
Showed us what a big heart's for
A sister, wife, a mama, grandma too
Every one of us is better 'cause of you

[Verse 3]
Make a wish and blow those candles out
Health and happiness for years to come, no doubt
Keep on calling, keep on showing up
Keep on pouring love in every cup
We'll be laughing right there by your side
Eighty never looked so full of life

[Chorus]
So raise a glass, turn the music loud
Eighty years and she's still leading this crowd
Kind and caring, full of fun and grace
First one in and the last to leave the place
Happy birthday, Sheila, sing it out
You're the love this family's all about

[Outro]
Yeah, you're the love this family's all about
Big sister, sing it out
