Tamee

[Verse 1]
Sick as a dog, in line to fill a script,
A friend's introduction, and my whole world tipped.
Green eyeliner shining, stunning in the light,
Weeks on the phone before that first goodnight,
And I knew somehow the stars had got it right.

[Chorus]
Oh Tamee, you're the love I never planned,
The strength I lean on, the softest steady hand.
Through the worst before, we found the best in two,
And every day I'm falling more for you.

[Verse 2]
At Logan's you were cute, that fresh piercing sway,
Traded a Rancid for Rascal Flatts that day.
I drove off thinking I'd lost both girl and disc,
Then your parking lot call, and I couldn't resist—
Watermelon bubblegum, our very first kiss.

[Chorus]
Oh Tamee, you're the love I never planned,
The strength I lean on, the softest steady hand.
Through the worst before, we found the best in two,
And every day I'm falling more for you.

[Bridge]
Spontaneous and fearless, passionate and smart,
You made me a better man and gave me back my heart.

[Verse 3]
Our grandchildren Bentley and Willow run and play,
And the love you give this family lights the way.
Through any storm, through Hell and back we ride,
Whatever comes, I'm standing at your side.
A new beginning waiting, hand in hand we'll go,
And Tamee, there's no one I'd rather know.

[Chorus]
Oh Tamee, you're the love I never planned,
The strength I lean on, the softest steady hand.
Through the worst before, we found the best in two,
And every day I'm falling more for you.

[Outro]
From that first sweet kiss my heart was always yours,
And forever, love, I'm walking through your doors.
