Tim

[Verse 1]
Bright lights on a Friday night,
Pom-poms and a game to win,
The captain caught my eye back then,
A story just about to begin.
Nineteen and a springtime vow,
They said it never would last somehow.

[Chorus]
But you always made me feel loved,
Through every storm and clearing above.
Sixty years, still holding on,
Faithful and true when the days are gone.
You're my forever, my whole life through,
There's no one, no one quite like you.

[Verse 2]
You sailed away on the ocean wide,
Months and a year on the other side.
Then home you came and heaven smiled,
Debbie came, our precious child.
The happiest day we'd ever known,
A family built, a love full-grown.

[Chorus]
And you always made me feel loved,
Through every storm and clearing above.
Sixty years, still holding on,
Faithful and true when the days are gone.
You're my forever, my whole life through,
There's no one, no one quite like you.

[Bridge]
Debbie, Katie, Rachel, Tyler,
Names that make my whole heart smile.
The championships, the softball fields,
The love your steady hands revealed.

[Verse 3]
Now our hair has turned to gray,
And slower go our steps each day.
But Tim, you're stronger than the years,
My devoted man through joy and tears.
From modest walls to all we've grown,
Every mile with you was home.

[Chorus]
For you always made me feel loved,
Tim, you're the answer to prayers above.
Sixty years, still holding on,
Only heaven could take you along.
You're my forever, my dream come true,
Oh Tim, my darling, I still love you.

[Outro]
Bright lights fade but our love won't part,
You're the captain of my heart.
