Tom and Tove Lewis

[Verse 1]
Some stories start when skies are gray,
A quiet house, an empty day.
He only wished to find a friend,
For cards and suppers now and then.
Three ladies smiling in a photograph,
He pointed once, and that was that.

[Chorus]
So here's to Tom and Tova now,
Two snowy heads, one happy vow.
Best friends who drew the perfect hand,
A love as lucky as it's grand.
It just seems right, it always will,
Your hearts are young and dancing still.

[Verse 2]
Within the hour the game was set,
The Sand Trap dinner, no regret.
Then crawfish, then a Greek café,
With talks that stretched the night away.
In Tunica he asked with care,
One room or two? And love was there.

[Chorus]
So here's to Tom and Tova now,
Two snowy heads, one happy vow.
Best friends who drew the perfect hand,
A love as lucky as it's grand.
It just seems right, it always will,
Your hearts are young and dancing still.

[Bridge]
Your kindness spills on all you meet,
Your laughter makes a room complete.
Two Scorpios with open hands,
You give away the best you can.

[Verse 3]
He's learned to cook and wash the clothes,
At Lowe's they're dreaming, heaven knows.
A mansion turned a double wide,
They made it work, side by side.
Now St. Maarten, then the sea
To Denmark, where her roots run free.

[Chorus]
So here's to Tom and Tova now,
Two silver heads, one joyful vow.
Your days are full, your hearts are wide,
With generous love on every side.
It just seems right, it always will,
Your hearts are young and dancing still.

[Outro]
Time is a gift, so spend it well,
With every story yet to tell.
Best friends forever, hand in hand,
The sweetest game, the luckiest hand.
